i think everyone has the freedom to protest, they also have freedom of speech, these are two fundamental things that make america amazing.
but thinking rationally about what is going on with the nfl, therefore, i have an unfavorable opinion of the league, and the players, not their right to free speech, but their motive and execution of it.

I feel that protest of government policies a good thing when it can be done in a peaceful way and the government don't step in with brutal measures for the protesters.
Freedom of expression without government sensorship being imposed is a good thing.
As to whether this brings results is anybody's guess I think in some rather small way this does produce more sensitivity in those that make and enforce the laws, which is a very good thing.
I'm not a great anthem standing sentimentalist, and I think the 1st amendment plays a major role in this scenario.

I think Trump blundered big time in his talk to the UN and displayed before the whole world what a ego-centric bully he really is. To threaten the country of North Korea with destruction before the whole world while he's in reach of a button unleashing untold suffering for humanity is not good.

Yeah I seen cognitive dissonance in these children, it was a surprise question for a typical indoctrinated youth, that would get a certain expected response.
